Text Overlays & Annotation

Add and position text on any PDF page. Adjust font family, size, colour, and opacity. Double-click any overlay to edit its content inline.

Signatures, Images & Whiteout

Draw freehand signatures with the signature pad, place images or stamps, and cover existing content with white rectangles. All elements are fully repositionable.

Page Management & Form Filling

Rotate, delete, and reorder pages using the thumbnail panel. Fill AcroForm text fields, checkboxes, and dropdowns detected from the original PDF.

How This Works

The PDF Editor lets you annotate, sign, fill forms, and manage pages in any PDF file directly in your browser. Here is the step-by-step workflow:

  1. Upload a PDF: Drop a PDF onto the editor area or click to browse and select a file from your device. The file is loaded entirely in your browser- nothing is uploaded to a server.
  2. Add Text Overlays: Select the Text tool from the toolbar and click anywhere on the page to place a text element. Double-click the element to edit its content. Use the Properties panel on the right to change font, size, colour, and opacity.
  3. Cover Content with Whiteout: Select the Whiteout tool and drag a rectangle over the area you want to cover. This draws an opaque white rectangle that hides underlying content when the PDF is exported.
  4. Place Images or Signatures: Use the Image tool to upload an image from your device and place it on any page. Use the Signature tool to open the signature pad, draw your signature, and position it on the page.
  5. Manage Pages: Use the page thumbnail panel on the left to navigate pages, change their order by dragging, rotate them 90 degrees, or delete pages you do not need in the final document.
  6. Export and Download: Click the Export button in the toolbar to generate the final PDF with all edits embedded using pdf-lib. The file is built in your browser and downloaded directly to your device.

The Privacy & Local Processing Advantage

Uploading sensitive PDF documents to cloud-based editors means your files are transmitted over the network and processed on remote servers. The C³ MindLoop PDF Editor works differently:

Client-Side Processing: All editing operations- text overlays, whiteout, image placement, signatures, page management, and form filling- are performed inside your browser using pdf-lib and pdfjs-dist. Your PDF data is processed in local memory and is never sent to any C³ MindLoop server.

Suitable for Sensitive Documents: Because processing happens locally, you can safely edit confidential documents- contracts, legal agreements, medical records, or financial statements- without transmitting their contents over the network to a third-party service.
