Compress PDF

Reduce PDF file size using two compression modes. Basic mode strips metadata and re-saves with object streams. Strong mode rasterises pages via the Canvas API for maximum size reduction.

Merge & Split PDFs

Combine multiple PDF documents into one file in your preferred order, or extract a custom set of pages from any PDF using flexible page range syntax.

Browser-Based Processing

All PDF operations run inside your browser using pdf-lib and pdfjs-dist. No PDF data is transmitted to a remote server - files stay on your device throughout.

How This Works

The PDF Suite provides three core operations - Compress, Merge, and Split - all running directly inside your browser. Here is how to use each one:

  1. Compress a PDF: Upload a PDF in the Compress tab, choose Basic (fast, removes metadata) or Strong (rasterises pages for maximum reduction), then click Compress and download the smaller file.
  2. Merge PDF Files: Switch to the Merge tab and upload two or more PDF files. Reorder them by dragging or using the arrow buttons. Click Merge and download the combined document.
  3. Split a PDF: Open the Split tab and upload the PDF you want to split. Enter the page numbers or page ranges you want to extract (for example: 1-3, 5, 8-10), then click Split and download the extracted pages as a new PDF.
  4. Preview Before Downloading: An interactive page preview panel shows the selected or resulting document before you download. Navigate between pages and zoom in to verify the output.
  5. Edit PDF (Annotate): Use the Edit tab to add text annotations to any page. Position text freely, adjust font, size, color, and opacity, then save the annotated PDF to your device.
  6. No Installation Required: All processing happens in your browser using pdf-lib and pdfjs-dist. You do not need to install any software, browser extension, or desktop application.

The Privacy & Local Processing Advantage

Uploading sensitive PDF documents to cloud-based tools means your files are transmitted over the network, processed on remote servers, and potentially stored in server logs. The C³ MindLoop PDF Suite works differently:

Client-Side Processing: Merge, compress, split, and annotate operations are performed inside your browser using pdf-lib (a pure JavaScript PDF library) and the browser Canvas API. Your PDF data is processed in local memory and is not sent to any C³ MindLoop server.

Suitable for Private Documents: Because processing happens locally, you can work with confidential documents - contracts, financial statements, medical records, or internal reports - without transmitting their contents over the network to a third-party service.
